Doctors are available for advice for urgent medical problems through surgery opening hours 0800 to 1800. For less urgent medical problems, please call 111 for advice. If you have acute severe central chest pain, especially with breathlessness, then calling 999 is appropriate.
For other matters, a doctor may call you back about issues that cannot otherwise be resolved. Please note the medical secretaries or administrative staff can often also be of help.
For social care issues, telephone Care Direct on 0845 1551 007.
It is helpful if you can give an indication of the problem if you are asking for a doctor to ring and if you are not the patient, there must be consent if the person you are calling about are over 16 years old and have capacity. We cannot discuss any patient without consent and we do not return anonymous calls.
The Duty Doctor is available to ring you back (if it is not an urgent medical problem) between morning and afternoon surgeries, we cannot specify an exact time. Please provide a reliable phone number and check your details are up to date with us.
