GP practices with in the local area are working together to offer patients more access to GP and nurse appointments in the evenings and at weekends. You will be able to see a GP or nurse at a time which is most convenient for you.

All existing and new patients are entitled to register to use this service.
You can still use this website to order your repeat prescriptions if you prefer, and telephone or call into the surgery for any other services as well. It is your choice.
Being able to see your summary care record and GP records online will give you information on your regular medication, any allergies you may have and any adverse reactions you may have had particularly to certain types of medication. Your records are written to help medical people look after you and so in some cases you may not understand everything you see. If you find anything difficult to understand; have a chat with your GP or nurse when you next attend for an appointment.
Should you wish to apply for this service, please ask at reception, if you are an existing patient just come in and supply 2 forms of ID; one must be photographic. If you are a new patient you will be asked to complete an application form and provide the above mentioned 2 forms of ID. You will need your own individual email account. After this has been processed login details will be sent to you via email only.
Just like online banking it will be your responsibility to keep your login details and password safe and secure. You should keep your password secret. If you think someone has seen your password you should change it as soon as possible. You should not share your user name or password. No one should force your to show them your login details, you have a right to say no. If someone forces you, tell the surgery as soon as possible.
The Practice has the right to remove online access for anyone who does not use it responsibly.

Pinpoint is a website set up by Devon County Council and is a valuable resource available for everyone to use.

Where to go if the surgery is NOT open
If you have diarrhoea, earache, painful cough, sticky eye, teething or rashes - go to your local Pharmacy
If you have arthritis, asthma, back pain, vomiting stomach ache - call Out-Of-Hours GP on NHS 111 where you will receive advice and treatment by phone, at a Treatment Centre or via a home visit.
If you have cuts, sprains, strains, bruises, itchy rash or minor burns - go to the Minor Injuries Unit at Exmouth Hospital
If you have severe bleeding, breathing difficulties, severe chest pain, loss of consciousness or serious or life threatening situations - call 999 or go to A&E (Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital)

In an NHS Survey, Imperial Surgery was ranked 'Best in East Devon' with 71% of its patients rating is 'Very Good'.
We would like to thank everyone that took part in this survey.
We offer many patient groups including a Knitting Group, Walking Group, Volunteer Patient Transport Service, together with a new Carers Support Clinic. We also have the Imperial Patient Group which is one of the longest established patient groups in Devon, supporting the work of the practice.
We are looking for more patients to join our Imperial Patient Group. If you would like more information regarding this group, please contact Zoe Newey Practice Manager.
We are pleased to advise you we are supporting the new mobile app that will give you up to date advice about common childhood illnesses and how to treat them. The App has been developed by paediatric consultants at Taunton and Somerset NHS Foundation Trust and subsequently Northern Devon Healthcare Trust together with the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust and Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust have worked in partnership to launch the app in Devon.
It gives parents access to home care plans as well as GP and hospital clinical guidelines for the most common childhood health care concerns such as diarrhoea and vomiting, chesty baby illnesses, high temperature, abdominal pain and common new born problems.

Who Can Have The Shingles Vaccine?
